Confederate and Union reenactors and historians gave library patrons a blast from the past on Saturday. Civil War history enthusiasts wore period clothing and showcased Civil War artifacts, such as firearms, currency and documents. The three-hour event, held at the Callaway County Library, was sponsored by Kingdom of Callaway Civil War Heritage Committee and the Elijah Gates Camp 570 Sons of Confederate Veterans.
