Sophomore Scott Strough (Fulton High) prevailed in the No. 6 singles matchup of the Blue Jays' 6-3 loss to the Warriors on Saturday.
Strough defeated Hendrix's Daniel Habenicht 6-2 and 6-0. Freshman Peter Hasenmueller had Westminster's individual other win, topping Kiran Chakka 1-6, 6-3 and 11-9 at No. 4 singles.
Westminster junior Kyle Collins teamed with freshman Adam Fuchs to top Karthik Garimella and Kristian Lenser 9-7 at No. 3 doubles.
The Blue Jays were shut out 9-0 by the University of the Ozarks on Friday evening.
Westminster (1-4) plays Nebraska Wesleyan at 1 p.m. Saturday in Kansas City.
