The Lady Hornets put an end to their four-game losing streak with a 56-38 North Central Missouri Conference victory over the Lady Pirates on Monday night at Roger D. Davis Gymnasium.
Fulton (9-6, 4-2 NCMC) came out strong and led Hannibal 31-13 at the break.
Both teams tallied 25 points in the second half, but the Lady Hornets were able to maintain their cushion after second-half letdowns had plagued them in past outings.
"We put up 25 points in the second half and those are good numbers for us; they're better numbers than we've put up in the last few weeks," Fulton head coach TJ Quick said. "We're trying to fine tune things. We're trying to clean up all those things."
Junior guard Sloane Totta tallied a game-high 20 points for the Lady Hornets. Junior guard Rachel Guse' supplied 15 points and sparked Fulton with nine rebounds.
"She needed this," Quick said of Guse'. "She can score with the best of them; she can score 15 points a night...she hit some big 3's, she drove the lane.
"Her hitting 3's helps take some pressure off of people and she needed that tonight."
The Lady Hornets were 37 percent (18-of-49) from the field, and held a 36-32 rebounding edge.
Morgan Miller led the Lady Pirates with 10 points as her team finished 32 percent (16-of-50) from the floor.
Fulton (0-8) fell in the junior varsity game 36-27.
