Art House held a Painting with Sharpies class Sunday. The class is one of many youth classes the art gallery hosts.

For the class Painting with Sharpies, participants decorated ceramic tiles using Sharpies, then placed rubbing alcohol on top of their designs. The rubbing alcohol blended the colors.

Art House class instructor Brittney Eaton said she chose the class's project to be painting coasters with Sharpies because she thought it would be fun and practical.

"I really like playing with color and I like making things people can use," Eaton said.
