3-vehicle crash in Callaway leaves 3 injured

A three-car crash in Callaway County Friday left three injured.

A 1997 GMC, driven by Jeremy D. Miller of Mokane, failed to yield while crossing U.S. 54, according to Missouri Sate Highway Patrol records.

A 2002 Chevrolet, driven by Donald W. Powers of Auxvasse, hit Miller's vehicle. The crash report stated that the impact caused Powers' car to spin counter-clockwise on U.S. 54 and to hit a third vehicle, which was parked at the intersection.

Kelly K. Powers, 48 of Perry, was an passenger in the Chevrolet.

Miller, 34, and Kelly Powers had minor injuries. Donald Powers,45, had moderate injuries and was taken to University Hospital in Columbia by ambulance.

The 1997 GMC had moderate damage, the parked car that was hit had minor damage and the 2002 Chevrolet had extensive damage, according to the report.
