Union Hill Baptist Church hosts boys, girls basketball league

Union Hill Baptist Church in Holts Summit is holding its annual instructional basketball league now through Feb. 28 for third through fifth grade boys and girls.

The league focuses on teaching the sport rather than putting emphasis on the competitiveness of playing basketball.

Children can sign up through Jan. 20. To register, simply show up at the next practice time. Practice times for girls are: 6:30 p.m. Mondays and 10:15 a.m. Saturdays. Practice times for boys are: 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and 9 a.m. Saturdays.
