Auxvasse kicks off 55th annual Loafer's Week

Monday kicked off the 55th Annual Loafer's Week - a community reunion event held each year in the city. The community event continues and the Auxvasse Community Hall will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day. Lunch will be served at noon each day by an area organization:

•Tuesday, Feb. 24, the Mexico Go Gitters Relay for Life will serve pork loin for $7;

•Wednesday, Feb. 25, is pot luck day. Attendees can bring their favorite dish or dessert for $7;

•Thursday, Feb. 26, the Auxvasse Senior Center will serve ham and beans for $8;

•Friday, Feb. 27, Relay for Life of Callaway County will serve sloppy joes for $7; and

•Saturday, Feb. 28, the Auxvasse Lion's Club will hold an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. through noon for $7.
