Two Fulton residents admit to stealing scrap metal from city water department

Two Fulton residents admitted to stealing scrap metal from the Fulton Water Department, according to a Fulton Police Department press release.

The Fulton Water Department reported the theft to Fulton police last month, stating that a large amount of scrap metal was stolen on several occasions over a period of time. Fulton officers investigated and brought Kenneth Allen, 24, and Morgan Patton, 34, of Fulton in for questioning. Allen and Patton both admitted to the thefts, according to the press release.

Allen was charged with felony stealing, misdemeanor stealing, multiple counts of trespassing, felony property damage and possession of burglary tools. His bond was set at $16,000. The investigation in ongoing and charges are pending for Patton, according to the press release.
