Westminster's Njie resets 200-meter record at Jim Green Invite

Lady Blue Jays senior Nyima Njie, again, established the school's 200-meter dash record at the Jim Green Invitational on Saturday.

Njie clocked a time of time of 27.82 seconds, good for 21st place. Junior Brier Skogsberg became the first Westminster woman to ever compete in the 5,000-meter run, placing 11th in 19:49.89.

Senior Daniel Lindaman and freshman Glenn Teubner each collected top-20 finishes in the men's 5,000-meter race. Lindaman clocked a 16:24.12 to finish 13th, while Teubner (16:45.24) earned 14th.

Both teams will run at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge on Saturday, Feb. 20 in Columbia.
