The man wanted in connection with a stabbing Monday in the Holts Summit area has been arrested.
On Thursday Callaway County Sheriff's Office investigators conducted follow-up in the Springfield area regarding this investigation.
As a result of that follow-up, Michael Rushing, 26, of Stafford was arrested in Springfield and returned to Callaway County by the investigators.
Rushing was booked on charges of first-degree domestic assault, second-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action.
Rushing's bond was set at $60,000.
At the time of Rushing's arrest, he was on parole for a felony narcotics violation.
The stabbing occurred Tuesday night at 9:21 p.m., Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a reported disturbance in the 3400 block of Meller Road off State Road AA.
Deputies got on the scene and confirmed a 22 year old male from the Holts Summit area had been stabbed.
He was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
