VANDALIA - The North Callaway Thunderbirds tumbled to 0-6 on the season after being manhandled by the Van-Far Indians 67-31 in Tuesday night's Eastern Missouri Conference opener.
North Callaway fell behind 21-8 after one quarter and trailed 45-19 at halftime.
Senior guard Braden Shramek led the Thunderbirds with 10 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. Sophomore guard Coy Danison was next with nine points.
North Callaway plays at EMO foe Community R-6 at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
