Girls Basketball: New Bloomfield 53, Novinger 35

MOBERLY, Mo. - Despite shooting just 23 percent from the field, the Lady Wildcats were still able to pull off a convincing victory over the Lady Cats at Moberly Area Community College on Saturday.

New Bloomfield carried a 28-16 advantage into the break and was up 40-26 entering the fourth quarter.

"We did not shoot the ball well at all," Lady Wildcats head coach Brett Craighead said. "I thought we played well in our press; sometimes you have to win ugly."
