Senior setter Bailey Langworthy logged seven assists in the Ladybirds' 25-16, 25-17 setback to the Lady Wildcats to start Eastern Missouri Conference play on Thursday.
Junior libero Kendal Nolting added 9 digs, while senior outside hitter Bethany Bloss compiled a team-high five kills for North Callaway (0-3, 0-1 EMO).
"We found some things we need to work," Ladybirds head coach Liz Gragnani said. "We've improved on a lot of things, but it's just going to be getting all those individual pieces to work as a whole."
North Callaway fell in three sets in the JV contest. The Ladybirds dropped the first 25-18, won the second 25-13 and tumbled in the final frame 25-19.
The Ladybirds host Missouri School for the Deaf at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
