Six errors sink Fulton in loss to Eldon

The Lady Hornets committed six errors in bowing to the Lady Mustangs 8-2 on Tuesday.

Eldon logged four-run frames in the bottom halves of the second and fourth innings, respectively.

Fulton (0-2) did its damage via a two-run single by sophomore starter Kendalyn Roesner in the top of the third inning.

Roesner threw four innings, allowed four runs (one earned) on four hits and struck out one without registering a walk.

Roesner and sophomore second baseman Emma Abbott each went 1-for-3 as the Lady Hornets tallied seven hits.

Fulton dropped its JV opener 20-6.

The Lady Hornets begin North Central Missouri Conference play at Marshall at 5 p.m. Thursday.
