Westminster volleyball team selected third in SLIAC poll

The Westminster College Lady Blue Jays volleyball team was selected to finish third in the 2015 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference preseason poll released Wednesday.

Also back for the Lady Blue Jays are junior setter Kayla Reeg, senior libero Caroline Will and sophomore outside hitter Hannah Marshall.

Greenville (Illinois) College collected four first-place votes and 75 points in being picked to capture its third straight SLIAC championship. Webster University was second in the poll with three first-place votes and 69 points.

Westminster opens its season at Stephens College in Columbia at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1.
