Senior Matt Henry and sophomore Isaac Franklin shot a pair of 92s in finishing in a three-way tie for 18th to guide the Hornets. Junior Gage Oestreich was next with a 95 and senior Austin Wilson contributed a 96.

"Obviously, we still have room for improvement, but we don't have a lot of time before the start of district play," Fulton head coach Pat Kelley said. "Hopefully we can tweak a few things and improve by eight to 10 strokes."

The Hornets compete in the Class 3, District 4 championships at 9 a.m. Monday at Eldon Country Club. The district field includes Eldon, Boonville, Hannibal, Helias, Kirksville, Marshall, Mexico, Moberly and School of the Osage.

"We'll probably need to be in the mid-80s (individually) to have a shot," Kelley said.
