ELSAH, Ill. - Junior third baseman Tyler Branneky set a single-season school record with his three runs batted in during the Westminster College Blue Jays' 8-1 victory over Principia College in the first game of Tuesday's SLIAC doubleheader.
Branneky finished 2-for-3 with a triple, a double and a run scored. He now has 43 RBI this season.
Westminster's 11-game winning streak was snapped with its 8-0 shutout loss to Principia in the nightcap.
The Blue Jays (20-9, 15-5 SLIAC) end the regular season with a home doubleheader against conference opponent Greenville (Illinois) College at 6 p.m. Friday.
