Fulton flattened by rival Mexico

The No. 1 doubles pairing of freshman Haydon Windsor and sophomore Grant Hendricks supplied the host Hornets with their lone victory in Tuesday night's 11-1 NCMC loss to the rival Bulldogs.

Windsor and Hendricks downed Mexico's Richard Stamy and Sam Hobbs 10-4.

"(Haydon and Grant) mesh well," Fulton head coach Rob Fisher said. "They both know their court assignments and executed them perfectly."

The loss left the Hornets at 4-11 overall and 0-5 in the NCMC.

"Our biggest thing is finishing matches," Fisher said. "We'll have a lot of close matches, then sometimes they (opponents) pull away at the end."
