Fulton tumbles to Tolton in non-conference play

The Hornets dipped to 4-9 on the season after Thursday night's 6-3 loss to the Trailblazers.

"We had a lot of close matches and everybody played hard," Fulton head coach Rob Fisher said. "This was good practice for us since we'll play Father Tolton again Saturday in the Boonville Tournament.

"We got a little experience against them and we'll know what to look for the next time."

•No. 1 singles: Joseph Fulca (FT) defeated freshman Haydon Windsor (F), 6-3, 6-4; No. 2: Peter Robe (FT) def. sophomore Grant Hendricks (F), 7-5, 6-4; No. 3: sophomore Justin Adams (F) def. Ellie Kayser (FT), 6-4, 4-6 (10-7); No. 4: Josh Terrana (FT) def. sophomore Dustin Lee (F), 6-0, 6-1; No. 5: Morgan Vogt (FT) def. freshman Miles Johnson (F), 7-5, 3-6 (10-2); No. 6: Caroline Parker (FT) def. freshman Devin Ferro (F), 6-1, 6-1.
