Missouri School for the Deaf senior Joseph Allen triumphed in the boys' 200 meters at the Black and Gold Invitational on Thursday.
Allen clocked a winning time of 25.33 seconds in the 200, while taking third in the 100 at :12.4. Senior Benson Goodwin cleared 5 feet, 6 inches in the high jump to claim second place. He was third in the long jump with a leap of 17-9.
Senior Jeffrey Porter claimed third in the 400 (:58.21) and fourth in the 200 (:25.92). Sophomore Ste'Quan Scott earned third in the 800 (2:25), while senior Noe Garcia took fourth in discus (99-6).
The Eagles will compete at the Great Plains Schools for the Deaf championships at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Arkansas School for the Deaf in Little Rock.
