The Hornets were blanked by the Colonels 9-0 at the high school athletic complex Tuesday night.
"I thought, overall, it was a hard-fought match," Fulton head coach Rob Fisher said. "I thought everybody had a positive attitude even in a loss.
"I thought everybody can take away something positive from the matches and something they can work on."
The Hornets (0-2) travel to Boonville for a North Central Missouri Conference matchup at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
