EUGENE - Senior Brooke Kelley medalled with a third-place 89 total as the New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats golf team won the Eugene Tournament with a 402 score on Wednesday at Redfield Golf Course.
All four New Bloomfield golfers captured medals. Senior Ashley Kelley was fourth with a 90, freshman Alexandra Morningstar came in seventh with a 111 and junior Hannah Cornman took 10th with a 112.
On Tuesday at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club in New Bloomfield, the Lady Wildcats finished first with a 197 and Eugene came in second with a 216 in a quad meet. Hallsville and Russellville did not field complete teams.
Brooke Kelley sparked New Bloomfield with a 44, Ashley Kelley added a 46, Morningstar shot a 50 and freshman Maddison Markland carded a 57.
Russellville's Mikala Jungmeyer and Madison Oliver were medalist and runner-up with respective 40 and 41 scores.
New Bloomfield competes in the Class 1, District 3 championships at Redfield at 8 a.m. Monday.
