Westminster men, women run at Southern Stampede

Blue Jays freshman Glen Tuebner earned 34th place in the men's race at the Southern Stampede Invitational on Saturday. Tuebner ran a time of 27 minutes, 42.69 seconds to guide the Westminster men to a 12th-place outing.

Junior Jesse Edwards finished 52nd in 28:15.22, senior Daniel Lindaman earned 67th in 28:42.95 and freshman Chandler Yeary collected 85th place in a time of 29:24.17.

Freshman Nathan Wilson came in 137th place in 31:31.26 and freshman Nathan Fox (32:48.26) came in 150th. Sophomore Ryan Dyer logged a time of 34:40.85 to take 163rd, while senior Spencer Woodford took 174th with a run of 41:56.81.

Freshman Shannon McCaul's time of 20:07.70 earned her a 59th-place finish, leading the Westminster women to a 16th-place team showing.

Freshman Claire Gibby earned 65th with a result of 20:17.36, freshman Madison Zack took 83rd in 20:41.07 and freshman Taylor Howard (South Callaway) placed 96th in 20:54.93.

Both Westminster teams will run at the Gary Stoner Invitational at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, in Fayette.
