Fulton's skid continues in NCMC loss to Boonville

The Lady Hornets totaled just three hits and committed six errors in a 12-0 North Central Missouri Conference loss to the Lady Pirates on Monday at the high school athletic complex.

Fulton (1-8, 1-5) has lost its last six games.

Boonville posted two runs in first, a run apiece in the second and third and had four-run outings in the sixth and seventh.

Lady Hornets senior pitcher Brooke Baysinger took the loss on the mound, giving up eight runs - seven earned -in 5 1/3 innings.

Baysinger struck out two and surrendered nine hits without allowing a walk.

Senior shortstop Dacrie Depping and Baysinger both were 1-for-3, while sophomore left fielder Kenzi Archer finished 1-for-2.

Fulton fell to 1-6 with a 7-6 loss in the JV game.

The Lady Hornets play at Battle at 5 p.m. today.
