Lady Bulldogs oust Lady Indians

Senior Anna Bartley's solo home run in the top of seventh inning gave the Lady Bulldogs some breathing room in their 3-1 win over the Lady Indians on Thursday night.

South Callaway (8-4) held a 2-1 advantage before Bartley's blast, which was her only hit of the game.

The Lady Bulldogs opened the scoring with two runs in the third, while Hallsville logged its run in the fourth.

Sophomore starter Konnor Arrowood threw a complete game, striking out four and allowing a run on four hits.

Arrowood finished 2-for-4 with a home run as South Callaway put up 10 hits. Sophomore Nicole Horstman also went 2-for-4 and added a double, while senior Kaitlyn Loucks was 2-for-3 with a double.
