The William Woods University Lady Owls volleyball team watched its four-match winning streak come to an end as MidAmerican Nazarene (Kansas) University rallied for a 25-21, 21-25, 23-25, 25-14 and 15-12 victory Tuesday night at Anderson Arena.
Senior outside hitter Kristen Bauer topped William Woods University (6-6) with a season- and match-high 18 kills. Freshman setter Brittney Engelbrecht provided her ninth double-double of the season with 44 assists and 13 digs, while senior libero Abbie O'Mara contributed a match-high 19 digs.
The Lady Owls play in the Ashford University Tournament in Clinton, Iowa, on Friday. William Woods faces St. Ambrose University at 11 a.m. and No. 5 Northwestern College at 1:30 p.m.
