Eagles junior quarterback Joseph Allen threw for a touchdown and tallied a team-high 104 yards in MSD's 52-6 season-opening loss to the Indians on Saturday.
Allen had 49 yards through the air, connecting with senior wide receiver Jeffrey Porter for a 14-yard touchdown pass.
Allen had 11 solo tackles on defense from his linebacker position, while sophomore linebacker Markus Smith had eight tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery.
"All and all, we played hard and got some valuable experience that we will build on for our next game," Eagles head coach Stacy Pittmon said.
MSD plays at Arkansas School for the Deaf at 2 p.m. this Saturday.
