McDonald medals at Jim Marshall Invitational

South Callaway junior Amanda McDonald finished 19th of 33 runners, earning a medal at the Jim Marshall Invitational on Saturday at Cole County Park.

McDonald finished in 24 minutes, 48.6 seconds as the Lady Bulldogs' only competitor in the varsity division.

South Callaway senior Terry Miles was the Bulldogs' only entrant in the varsity boys' field, taking 25th in 20:21.6.

Sophomore Caitlyn Chapman earned a medal for South Callaway in the junior varsity girls' group, placing 20th in 15:25.76. Freshman Elli Luebbert finished 28th in 15:56.01, sophomore Kallie Guthrie was 30th in 16:02.2 and freshman Greta Cross clocked a time of 16:22.95 to place 33rd.

Freshman Kaci Jordan finished 49th in 17:44.22 and freshman Ashley Potter came in 55th in 18:22.97. The Lady Bulldogs finished fourth out of seven teams.

Freshman Caleb Diehl guided the South Callaway JV boys with a 54th-place time of 14:34.96. Freshman Nick Rodriguez finished in 56th with a time of 14:37.52, freshman Austin Clubb placed 58th in 14:39.62 and junior Roger Rodriguez was 69th in 15:30.16.

South Callaway competes at the Vienna Invitational at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.
