The Bike MS: Express Scripts Gateway Getaway fundraiser ride will be coming through Callaway County on Sunday, including a lunch stop at Memorial Park in Fulton.
Drivers are asked to keep an eye out for bicyclists - especially on the county roads with narrow shoulders - in the event's 75-mile and 100-mile loops between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, with the bulk of cyclists expected to come through Fulton between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Riders will be coming into Callaway along State Route E, then on State Route FF, along the outer road of Interstate 70 to State Route HH, into Fulton on William Woods and then Westminster avenues. In Fulton, riders will take Westminster to West Second Street, stop at Memorial Park for lunch and continue up Court Street to West Fourth Street, and then will follow Route F to Route J and back to the outer road along Interstate 70 back to Columbia.
Bike MS is an annual fundraiser that raises awareness and money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
