William Woods' junior varsity unit bested the field by 37 strokes at the Illinois College Fall Inivtational on Sunday afternoon.
The Lady Owls posted a team score of 15-over-par 591 (297-294) to ease to victory. Indiana Tech shot 52-over-par to claim second place, Illinois Wesleyan earned third at 73-over-par, while their "B" team (+82) and Rend Lake Community College (+106) rounded out the top five.
William Woods freshman Katie Warren placed second individually with a 1-over-par 145 (71-74), freshman Celia Mansour scored a 2-over-par 146 (72-74) to take third and junior Myriam Hassan shot a 4-over-par 148 (78-70) to come in fourth.
Redshirt junior Joni Purvis (76-79) and freshman Megan Cullen (79-76) tied for sixth place as both scored an 11-over-par 155.
Lady Owls junior Valerie Mielziner competed as an individual and claimed 11th place with a 16-over-par 160 (82-78), freshman Alex Bankovich earned 37th by scoring a 33-over-par 177 (93-84) and freshman Nikki Callahan took 43rd place with a tally of 39-over-par 183 (94-89).
Indiana Tech's Wiebke Schlender earned top individual honors with a 2-under-par 142 (72-70).
William Woods will play at the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Invitational beginning Sept. 12 in Bloomington, Illinois.
