Westminster College celebrates homecoming with circus-themed parade, pep rally

Westminster College students - representing various classes, athletic teams and Greek Life - walked down Court Street on Wednesday in the school's annual homecoming parade.

The college has held various activities this week to celebrate the tradition, including volunteer work, chalking sidewalk and a creative competition. Homecoming court candidates will perform in a talent show 7 p.m. today at Champ Auditorium.

Family Weekend kicks off on Friday, and the volleyball team will take on Spalding University that day 7 p.m. in the Historic Gym.

There will be more family-oriented activities on Saturday, followed by tailgating and the homecoming football game against Northwestern University on Priest Field. Game starts at 1 p.m., and homecoming king and queen will be announced during halftime.
