Fulton bows to Centralia in District 13 quarterfinals

The Lady Hornets - seeded No. 5 in Class 3, District 13 - finished their season in a 25-18, 24-26 and 25-13 loss to the top-seeded Lady Panthers on Monday night.

Fulton ends its campaign with a record of 9-15-3.

Senior setter Kat Berry distributed 25 assists, while senior middle hitter Madison Murphy added 12 kills and five blocks. Freshman outside hitter Kate Pani served six aces and totaled seven digs to pace the Lady Hornets in both categories.

"I had a great season with these girls and I am satisfied with the progress we have made," Fulton head coach Coleman Lee said. "...We have a very bright future and I am so pleased with the group of girls I was able to work with this season and even more optimistic about the group I get to keep mixed with some great JV girls for the upcoming season."
