WWU's Chi Omega holds Wish Walk 5K to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation

At 11:11 a.m. Saturday, 80 runners and walkers took off down the Stinson Creek Trail at Memorial Park for the William Woods University Chi Omega sorority's Wish Walk 5K. For the third year, The Tau Theta Chapter of Chi Omega hosted the event, which raised more than $1,500 that will be donated to the Make a Wish Foundation. The Make a Wish Foundation is the national philanthropy for the sorority. This week is philanthropic week. Both fraternities and sororities will hold fundraisers all week long.
