Fulton fall cleanup week starts Monday

Fulton's fall cleanup begins Monday, Oct. 20 and ends Friday, Oct. 24. The city's annual fall cleanup week is a time for residents to set out larger items at the curb on their regularly scheduled solid waste collection day. Larger items usually require special pickup.

The city will pickup sofas, chairs, televisions and microwaves. Major appliances such as refrigerators, washers and dryers can be set out as well, however, the Solid Waste Department needs to be contacted to handle these items. The city will not pickup construction debris, hazardous waste and tires during cleanup week.

All large items for pickup should be set at the curb, at least three feet away from the trash cart. Residents with additional questions about the city's annual fall cleanup week can contact the Solid Waste Department at (573) 592-3176.
