The band is gearing up to perform in Friday night's homecoming game and Central Methodist University Band Day competition on Saturday in Fayette.

The homecoming football game will be 7 p.m. Friday night against Mexico, and the band will perform (as usual) at halftime.

Fulton's marching band previously competed in the Wildcat Pride Marching Festival in Wright City and placed first in street, second in field and was given an "outstanding" mark in drum majors on field.

"James Bond" has been the band's theme this year, which includes the song, "Skyfall."
