The Lady Wildcats - trying to secure a second straight district championship - blanked No. 5 seed Belle 5-0 in first-round play Wednesday afternoon.
The winner will meet either No. 3 South Callaway or No. 2 Linn for the District 10 title at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Meanwhile, the No. 3 seed North Callaway Ladybirds will clash with No. 2 Westran (17-3) in a rescheduled Class 2, District 11 semifinal at 5 p.m. today in Centralia. The contest was also rained out Thursday.
North Callaway (17-4) downed No. 6 seed Father Tolton 14-4 in first-round action Wednesday night.
No. 1 seed Centralia (22-3) plays No. 4 Hallsville (12-10) at 6:30 tonight in the other District 11 semifinal. The district championship is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday.
