A mid-day fire that authorities believe was started by children playing with matches or a lighter gutted a Holts Summit apartment building Friday.
The children were taken to a local hospital for evaluation; no injuries have been reported at this time.
Authorities said 29 units in the Evergreen Apartments, located off Route AA, were destroyed.
The apartments are owned by Capital City Properties.
