The Fulton Lady Hornets volleyball team suffered a 25-22, 25-12 North Central Missouri Conference loss to the Marshall Lady Owls on Tuesday night at Roger D. Davis Gymnasium.
Junior outside hitter Maddie Droeste led Fulton with five kills and five digs. Senior setter Kat Berry added six assists.
"The girls have hit somewhat of a mental block, but the good news is I know I have the talent on my team to finish the season on a very successful note," Lady Hornets head coach Coleman Lee said. "I just can't wait for us to get back on track and start enjoying being on the court again."
Fulton prevailed in the junior varsity match 25-15, 19-25 and 15-5.
The Lady Hornets travel to Kirksville for an NCMM matchup at 6 tonight.
