Thanksgiving is traditionally about gathering with family and friends and enduring that iconic feast of turkey and all the fixings. Fulton Public Schools' preschool and kindergarten students share their tips for how to prepare the main event of that feast, and whom they would invite to join them at the table. They also helped create disguises for turkeys out to avoid ending up as someone's dinner.
Kindergarten and first grade students at McIntire also shared a Thanksgiving feast and Bartley second graders shared their knowledge of Native American tribes with their classmates and loved ones.
Fulton Education Center
Miss Brandt's a.m. class
Get a turkey at the store for 4 dollars. You cook it to eat it when you're awake. You should cook broccoli. If there's red stuff on your food, you can't eat it. My brothers, my mom, and my dad can eat it too.

You get a turkey at the store for 13 dollars or you can get a turkey out in the woods and cut it. Put it in the microwave for 13 hours. Cook beans and chicken with the turkey. I'm going somewhere for Thanksgiving with my family.

The turkey comes from the school. It costs big money. Get a tiny little turkey and cook it in the fire until it gets hot. I eat it with my mouth. My teeth will help. Mommy, daddy, Jesse, Gavin and Bryce Burg will eat turkey.

You can make a turkey or you can buy a turkey, if you want to, at the store. You can get some sugar and some watermelon and cut it up and cook it with the turkey. You have to cook it for hours because it takes so long. You have donuts and cinnamon toast with the turkey. Papa Jim, Papa Vernon, Hailey, Hailey's mom, and Grandma will eat with me.

You can get a turkey from a BBQ for 40 dollars. You have to cook it. Pick up the stake thing and cook it for the longest time. You get sausage or bacon with it. Anna, Bryce, and Cassidy will eat it with me.

You get a turkey at a farm for twenty bucks. You cook it in the oven from 6 in the morning. Cook potatoes and that's it. My mom, my grandma, and my grandpa will eat with me.

Get a turkey at Wal-Mart. It costs 7 dollars. Cook it with the oven for 7 hours on temperature 8. You can have tomatoes, corn, chicken, and peas too. My mommy, my daddy, Khloe, Ky-Ky, and Aunt Jiffy will eat with me and that's it.

When you get a bird, you get turkeys from the sky with a gun and a bullet. Take the fur off first, then cut it in pieces, take out the bones, and then cook it.
