Lady Blue Jays finish 30th at NCAA Regional

Junior Claire Gibby paced the Westminster women, who finished 30th in the team standings of the NCAA Regional on Satturday.

Gibby posted a 121st-place time of 24 minutes, 1.1 seconds as the Lady Blue Jays totaled 916 points.

Junior Brier Skogsberg placed 173rd in 24:46.7, while freshman Madison Zack took 192nd place in 25:17.1. Freshman Taylor Howard (South Callaway) earned 201st place with a result of 25:34.40.

Freshman Alex Rauscher earned 229th place in 26:34.1 and senior Tiara Pettijohn rounded out the Westminster women with a 246th-place time of 27:20.2.

Washington University-St. Louis was the top finishing team with 62 points and had the top individual runner in Lucy Cheadle, who clocked a winning time of 20:55.

A trio of Westminster men also competed in the regional, led by junior Jesse Edwards' time of 27:11.9, good for 140th place.

Senior Daniel Lindaman took 142nd in 27:13.2, while freshman Nathan Wilson earned 181st place in 27:53.5.
