Hornets put eight on all-NCMC team

Fulton juniors Travis Dean and Clayton Bristol each earned all-North Central Missouri Conference football honors for a second straight year recently.

Dean and Bristol - second team picks as sophomores - were two of seven Hornets to earn a first-team nod. Dean was a first-team pick at running back, while senior quarterback Sam Christensen also earned first-team accolades.

Junior offensive lineman Zach Benner and senior wide receiver Devin Gibson also represented Fulton on the first-team offense.

Bristol collected first-team honors on the defensive line. Junior middle linebacker Kobe Kaminski and senior defensive back Noah Braun joined Bristol on the first team, each earning all-conference recognition for the first time.

Junior defensive lineman Alex Garner rounded out the Fulton contingent with a second-team selection.

The Hornets (6-5) concluded their season with a 52-14 loss to the Blair Oaks Falcons in the Class 3, District 6 semifinals on Oct. 31 in Wardsville.
