South Callaway competes at District 4 meet

Freshman Adrian Mann sparked the Lady Bulldogs with a 21st-place finish at the Class 2, District 4 championships on Saturday in Linn.

Mann clocked a time of 23 minutes, 32.05 seconds.

South Callaway freshman Elizabeth Luebbert earned 32nd in 24:32.53, sophomore Dariyn Finney took 41st in 25:44.53 and freshman Greta Cross' time of 26:03.63 earned her 43rd place.

Sophomore Kallie Guthrie earned 45th place in 26:22.56 to close out the Lady Bulldogs' runners. Fatima freshman Brianna Haller won the individual title in 19:46.12, while the Lady Comets secured the team title with 19 points.

Senior Terry Miles led the South Callaway boys with a 24th-place effort of 19:09.10.

Freshman Austin Clubb (20:53.19) finished 51st, while freshman Nickolas Rodriguez ran a 22:11.81 to earn 61st place. Freshman Caleb Diehl took 62nd place in 22:12.16 and sophomore Trey Rodriguez finished 66th in 22:44.25. Fatima junior Hunter Hennier ran a 17:03.46 to win the district championship.

The Comets triumphed in team competition with a score of 30.
