Eight Fulton athletes earn all-NCMC track recognition

Washington had a winning toss of 36 feet, 2 1/2 inches in the shot.

Senior Hayley Tobias claimed all-NCMC recognition by taking second in the 110-meter hurdles (16.80 seconds) and third in the 300 hurdles (:49.8).

Junior Sam Christensen took second in the boys' 110 hurdles (:16.26) and third in the high jump with a leap of 5-10. Sophomore Conner Foote came in second in the 400 in :53.1, while senior Tanner Eliuk was second in the discus with a heave of 138-6.

Eliuk joined Foote and freshmen Brandon Dews and Jared Eliuk to claim third in the 1,600 relay in 3:36.7.

The Hornets and Lady Hornets return to Mexico for the Class 3, District 4 championships at 11 a.m. Saturday.
