The junior varsity boys' 1,600-meter medley team earned Fulton's only first-place finish at the Jefferson City 9th- and 10th-grade All-Relays on Tuesday.
The quartet of sophomores Andy Baysinger and Luke Lohmeyer and freshmen Brandon Dews and Jared Eliuk triumphed with a time of 3 minutes, 54 seconds.
Eliuk and Lohmeyer also ran on the 800 medley unit, teaming with freshmen Chaz Ballard and Martin Morard to take second in 1:49.
Sophomore Madi Tobias placed second in the girls' high jump with a leap of 4 feet, 6 inches.
The Hornets and Lady Hornets' varsity squads compete at the North Central Missouri Conference championships in Mexico at 4 p.m. Friday.
