Fulton district games moved back to tonight

The Fulton Hornets and Lady Hornets’ first-round games at the Class 4, District 8 basketball tournament in Kirksville were postponed Monday night and moved back a day because of weather conditions.

The No. 6 seed Fulton boys will now face No. 3 Moberly at 6 tonight, while the No. 5 Fulton girls square off against No. 4 Marshall at 7:30.

The Hornets split their regular-season meetings with Moberly in North Central Missouri Conference play. The Hornets edged the Spartans 55-52 on Jan. 31 in Fulton, then lost at Moberly 61-43 on Feb. 25.

The Lady Hornets also split their two NCMC meetings with Marshall during the regular season. The Lady Hornets topped Marshall 51-35 on Jan. 8 in Fulton, but lost to the Lady Owls 44-37 on Feb. 10 in Marshall.
