Lady Blue Jays' Lutz receives nomination for NCAA honor

Recent Westminster College graduate Leigh Ann Lutz has been selected as the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference nominee for the 2014 NCAA Woman of the Year.

Lutz graduated in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in exercise science and biology, after completing an outstanding four-year career with the Lady Blue Jays. She finished with a 4.0 GPA and was awarded the NCAA and SLIAC postgraduate scholarships.

Lutz helped guide Westminster to two NCAA Division III national tournament appearances and three conference titles. She ended her career as the Lady Blue Jays' leader in scoring and 3-pointers.
