Children show their excitement after Mentos were dropped into a liter of Coca Cola causing a chemical reaction Wednesday for the Callaway County Library's Mad Scientist Lab program. The event designed for ages 5 and older allowed children to experiment with liquids, solids and sound.
The Callaway County Library hosted a Mad Scientists Lab Wednesday inside the Friends Room where children could explore the world of science. Experiment stations were set up that allowed children to play with the reaction between liquids and solids in addition to sound.
