Senior Cameron Edwards and junior Sam Niedergerke guided four other New Bloomfield players who garnered Class 2, All-District 8 recognition.
Edwards and Niedergerke were both slotted on the first team. Sophomores Clay Jensen and Grant Nichols were second-team picks while senior Ethan Massman and junior Tucker Lane were honorable mentions.
Niedergerke obtained the Wildcats' lone first-team All-SMC first-team selection. Edwards and Lane were on the second team and Massman was an honorable mention.
New Bloomfield (9-13, 2-5 SMC) finished sixth in the conference standings and ended its season with a 7-5 loss to Tipton in the district semifinals on May 19 at home.
