FPD was investigating suspicious activity at about 1:53 a.m. Sunday morning when they discovered the suspects allegedly trying to commit burglary with a knife.
Officers halted the process and arrested the duo.
Michael A. Arnold, 28, and Ash C.M. Short, both of Ohio, were charged with first-degree attempted robbery and are being held at Callaway County Jail. Arnold is being held on $25,000 bond while Short's bond is $15,000.
Further information, including the site of the crime, can't be released at this time according to FPD Detective Dall Hedges. An investigation is ongoing.
