This is the final week for residents to submit photographs to be featured in a pictorial history book of Callaway County.
The Fulton Sun has teamed up with the Kingdom of Callaway Historical Society and is partnering with the Missouri State Archives and the State Historical Society of Missouri to produce this book depicting Callaway County's history in a hard-back book.
The book will feature all of Callaway County's known past, with a focus on recent history - through the 1970s.
Photos submitted must be general interest - commerce, industry, rural life, public service, etc. - and had been taken in Callaway County between 1860 and 1979. The original photo is preferred, not newspaper clippings or photocopies.
Scanning sessions will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today and 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Kingdom of Callaway Historical Society, 513 Court St.
